EESIC

Engineering for Environmental Sustainability and International Cooperation (EESIC) is a new Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) project jointly managed by the University of Trento (Italy), coordinator, the Instituto Superior Técnico - Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), and the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain).

EESIC is a two-year (120 ECTS) MSc programme shaping global engineers for a sustainable future.

EESIC creates a new profile of graduates combining a strong engineering background with interdisciplinary and global competencies (open mindset, problem-solving attitude, intercultural understanding, management of complex problems) and builds a hub in Europe and in the world, together with selected Associate Partners, for the topics of sustainability in environmental engineering in the context of international cooperation.

EESIC in a nutshell

3 countries, 2 years, 1 global perspective

One semester at each university (Lisbon, Valencia, Trento) + 4th semester: fieldwork & thesis with 48 Associated Partners worldwide.
Approach: Interdisciplinary, challenge-based, hands-on.
Job placement: three degrees in environmental engineering (Portugal, Spain, Italy)
